The Rug Mules

Embracing the Japanese concept ‘Mottainai‘ meaning 'waste nothing,' King Kennedy takes carpets from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s that are beyond repair to create one-of-a-kind Mules. Each pair is unique and is carefully crafted in Los Angeles, CA.

Each Mule is one of a kind, made from antique and vintage rug scraps, some dating back as early as the mid 1800’s. Rubber foot bed wrapped in lamb skin and lined internally the same.
