For Zohra Rahman, the art of metalwork is a practice grounded in community-building by reviving the spirit of indigenous craftsmanship. In her workshop in Lahore, she works with a close-knit team of artisans trained in age-old jewelry design techniques, remixing these approaches with experimental aesthetics and practices. Inspired by eclectic beauty, South Asian traditions, and the primal elements of earth, flora, and fauna, her work embodies a raw exploration of form and formlessness - honoring the role of space, weight, and materiality. Each piece is handmade in her studio in Lahore, creating limited collections made to fall madly in love with.
