Iranian designer Neda Salamanpour’s NUSJ – نسج series inspired by the region is a series of artistic furniture draws from the palm trees and their cultural significance. NUSJ explores the connection between the geometry of palm trunks and the delicate handwoven patterns of palm leaves handicraft. The design translates this relationship into a sculptural form, using tessellated patterns to express their shared rhythm and mathematical patterns.
