Les fleurs du passé (朝花夕拾) - Bella Luo

Les fleurs du passé is a visual collection inspired by the Jardin du Luxembourg and recreated six months after a summer in Paris. Through experimental photography and typographic treatments, the work revisits memory rather than place. By reconstructing the images over time, reality begins to blur with imagination, turning recollection into something subtly unreal. Like gathering morning flowers from a winter garden, the project reflects a surreal tension between presence, absence, and emotional memory.

CCFC brings together artists who manipulate materials like silver, silicone, and flora to mimic the mysterious, wet textures of the subconscious. A cool metallic shell, cute in its organic vulnerability.

This is the new nature: soft, metallic, and beautifully chaotic. ‘Cool’ (aka. cold, clinical, and mysterious). ‘Cute’ (aka. vulnerable, organic, and soft). A fever dream where the hardware is melting, and the ego is leaking.
