Dual Bowls are irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind castings made with an unexpected combination of two metals. They are fabricated with unique sand-casting methods developed with Alwafi Foundry in Kuwait.

Kawther Al Saffar is a Kuwati artist known for her unique, mixed-metal work using the ancient technique of sand casting. Her bowls are one-of-a-kind, crafted from recycled materials like brass, copper, zinc, and nickel, and often feature the natural imperfections of the sand mold. The bowls are designed to feel both ancient and alien, creating unique pieces saturated with soul. Her multi-disciplinary work focuses on finding patterns for human intimacy and truth, whether this manifests itself in finding cultural significance, integrity in materials, or creating human connections.
