Shama Oud

Often referred to as “the smell of infinity,” Oud has a soulful and deep-rooted cultural history in the Middle East and South Asia. Harvested from agarwood across India and Cambodia, the dark resin heartwood is distilled into oil in traditional copper, clay or bronze pots, releasing a unique scent profile unlike any other. Many oud are aged for years to deepen the profile, creating the earthy signature smell beloved across Arab nations.

Shama Perfumers, founded in 1977, builds on over 50 years of oud heritage, with three bgenerations of perfumers working together to cultivate the scents of Oud and Attar. As a family business, they meticulously curate the highest quality perfumery oils and raw materials.
